Hey to All,
Dreamer came to visit again, so I wanted to give update. For everyone that doesn't know her story, she was our first foster and my father-in-law came in town for a race (drag race), and fell in love with her. He kept saying what a great dog she was and on and on. That Saturday and Sunday was the Reliant Dog Show, I was taking Dreamer to the event. I told him to speak now forever hold his peace before I left Saturday morning and he said "I WANT HER." That is it in a nut shell. My in-laws ABSOLUTELY love her. Everyone from where they live want to adopt one just like her. They tell my husband and I that if another comes in as good as Dreamer, just let them know... Although, there is only one Dreamer.
When they come to visit, all other dogs are in a kennel at night, but not Dreamer. She sleeps in the bed between my husband and I. She still follows me around when she is here, but she is ready to go when her Momma and Daddy say to load up. They say she spends her day hunting squirrels in their huge oak trees. She has been a great blessing for them. The holidays will be very hard for them this year and I am thankful they have Dreamer to cheer them up. She is a sweet, gentle, affectionate lap companion.
