ANNABELL here and I'm a 2+ year old Boxer girl.  I was lost in the Southern part of Houston and ended up in Animal Control...not a fun spot.  No humans ever came to claim me, so here I am in Rescue.

My foster mom says I'm excellent in the kennel & do great on the leash! I'm really laid back, chill, love belly rubs & want to be around everyone. Toys aren't my thing, as I'm not a chewer, unless it's a rawhide. Now treats, as you can tell, motivate me to perform commands. However I won't pick up any human food off the floor. Not a table scraps kind of girl! Kids playing rambunctiously close to me is not a problem, as I just lay there & want to be loved on. You will learn I'm not a licker but I will get close to your face to show you my love. I'm so comfortable with my foster family I snore when sleeping & love to talk to them if they aren't paying enough attention to me.

As all boxers, I am gorgeous and have a sleek, strong body and jaw.  Many of us boxers look a bit menacing, until you look into our eyes and see the mischief that lies just under the surface. Because of our playful nature and boundless energy, we are sometimes called the "Peter Pan" of the dog breeds. Boxers aren't considered fully mature until we are three years old, meaning we  have one of the longest puppyhoods in the world of dogs.

Transport Fee:

Our basic transport fee is $300 for boxers traveling outside of Texas to their new homes up North. This fee may vary occasionally. Note: Transport is not available within Texas or Louisiana.
