Dante is short for the Italian given name, Durante, made popular by (not Jimmy Durante like I thought-whew!) but an Italian poet! Stay tuned while HBR learns more about me and I will come up with some prose for you!
People are saying I have manners; that means we should hang out the banner. To tell the world I am oh so sweet, which for you is a great treat! I am both eager and smart and destined to dwell in your heart!
Guess what? I am house and crate trained, good on lead and in the car, I know basic commands, I sleep all night, and like being petted and talked to! Imagine that! I am not a chewer, don't counter surf (legs are too short-hehehehe), or excavate the trash. I'd rather not be alone so if you leave my sight I whine a little bit then quit. But, if a doggy pal is in the room too, I'm OK with that!
My biggest flaw stems from not wanting to be alone... I will climb a chain link fence of any height or a low wooden fence in a New York minute! These days most people have those privacy fences anyway, that would be great for me!
I am a lovely boy in a compact package. Come see me soon!
