April 2, 2022 UPDATE: 

Meatwad is available again. He was the perfect gentleman at his furever home but the female boxer did not like him one but. Houston Boxer Rescue(HBR) took Meatwad back into rescue and now we want to find the perfect home for him. He does great with other dogs!!

Hey, people call me Meatwad, cuz when I roll into a ball, I'm just a big wad of meat! I was found as a stray, yeah, can you believe I was just running the streets of Houston? Ok, running, that's an exaggeration, maybe I was strolling the streets. I do have some energy! You should see me do zoomies in my foster home. They can't believe a chunky guy like me can run so fast!

I walk great on a leash, don't mind the crate, use the doggie door, I love love LOVE toys! I need someone who likes to play and I need a friend who won't get mad at me like my foster brother and sister. They don't like playing! Lame, I know. I do like other dogs, not sure about cats though.

I do have to work on some manners, like maybe all of them.......... I don't know sit, I'm trying to learn, but who wants to sit when there is a treat that needs to be eaten? I'm a smart guy, I just need some patience and consistency.

My Foster Mom says I'm too mouthy to be around young kids. I'm not sure what that means, but if you talk to her, tell her I think she is mouthy too, she yells at me when I bite at her. It's all in fun, I'm not trying to be mean, I get excited and don't know my own strength!

I'm a really cool-looking English Bulldog. Word on the street is I am very handsome. I do snore, just an FYI.

I just had surgery on my eyes so now I'm even more handsome than I was yesterday!

Our basic transport fee is $300 for boxers traveling outside of Texas to their new homes up North. This fee may vary occasionally. Note: Transport is not available within Texas or Louisiana.
