My name is Roxie and I have recently arrived at Houston Boxer rescue after my Mom was deployed to Afghanistan for the military.  Unfortunately, there no family member available to take care of me while she served our country.

I am 15 months old and a playful, loving girl.  My foster dad says I am very smart.  I have learned to sit for treats and meals in just a few days.  I have also learned how to work the doggie door in only one day!!!  My foster dad also says I am very pretty with beautiful markings! 

I am crate trained, but would rather run and play in the yard with my foster brother and sister.  So, I am great with other dogs, not sure about cats yet.   When not running in the yard, all I want to do is lie at my foster parents feet, or even better get up in their lap. 

I am very friendly and was around kids with my first family.  I am lhouse trained and I walk very nicely on a leash.  I have lots of love and kisses to give, so please complete an application to adopt me!
