Hi! I’m Brystal. It’s nice to meet you. I hear you are looking to find a new family member. Well guess what? I’m looking for a new family. How about I tell you a little about myself and see if we might be a good match?

 

I’m a 1-1.5 years old, female boxer. I’m playful, lovable, and I have the classic “goofy” boxer personality. I love, love, love other dogs and want to play constantly. I have tons of rambunctious boxer bounce/energy and will play all the time if you let me. If I can’t get the other dogs in the house to play, then I’ll play with toys on my own.

 

When I’m not playing, I want to be with you. If you get up and go to the next room, I will follow you. If you go to the bathroom, I will be right on the other side of the door waiting for you to finish. If you sit down on the sofa to watch TV or read, I will try to get in your lap and give you heaps of boxer kisses. What can I say? I love to be loved!

 

At night I sleep in my crate and don’t make a peep until I see that my humans are up too. I also often just lay in my crate because it’s a safe place and I like it there. I’ve had a lot of change in my life so my crate is my safe place and like a security blanket for me. It’s good just to know it’s there. Don’t let me fool you though. I also really really really like to lay down on a soft, squishy, fluffy dog bed. Those are the best too!

 

As I mentioned earlier I’m a young gal. That means that besides having lots of energy, I still act like a puppy in a lot of ways and still need to learn a few things. For example I’m still learning to only go potty outside. But I’m a super smart girl, and I learn quickly. My foster mom says in the last week I’ve gone from 0% to 85% potty trained. I’ll have it down in no time at all!

 

One other thing I should mention is that I’m 100% healthy. I don’t have any known medical issues and that includes being Heartworm negative (Woo hoo!). That means if you adopt me we can spend all of our time getting to know each other and becoming family. Aww. Who am I kidding? I already love you. I love everybody. And I promise you that if you decide to make me a part of your family, you’ll love me too!
