Yowza! Hi! How are ya??!! My name is Bolt!!! You might think that might be an odd choice of name for a boxer, but I do live up to it sometimes! I am new here to Houston Boxer Rescue as my family were no longer able to spend enough time with me. No worries, I don't let it bother me now though, as I am off (in a hurry) to greener pastures! Wanna know about me? Cool! So, am I only 1 year old to start! I am kinda still a puppy in alot of ways. I have alot of energy and I love to play! My favorite times are when my humans or my foster sisters play with me or run around with me! And I will play with anything in my foster house; humans, dogs, toys, ropes...heck I could probably even play with these little things called cats my foster family thinks. They say that because even though I am a big boy (I really am), I am a gentle giant. I know some commands like sit, and down and stay and am learning more and more every day! I sleep in a crate at night and while my foster family is away. Its not my favorite thing, but I roll with it. I am house trained as well! And one of the best things, even though I am a big playful boy, I do walk very well on a leash. I do prefer to go fast, surprise, but I can go at which speed you prefer. With that in mind, I think my perfect home is one with 2 legged and 4 legged friends that can keep up with my active personality! Besides that, I am perfectly healthy and heartworm negative also! I may be active, but I am also super duper sweet and caring. I can be a little caught off guard with new things sometimes, but it really isn't that big of a deal. I just get a little timid around new things. I have had a bit of a life change recently, ya know! But overall, I am told I am a fantastic boy and would make one heck of a companion for that special family! Well, I guess I am done here for now. Time to run on to my next adventure! Transport Fee
Our basic transport fee is $300, occasionally this price could change. This fee is for transporting our boxers outside of Texas up North. We do not offer transport in Texas/Louisiana.

There is a $27.00 Home Visit Fee which is non-refundable. (Note: This fee is non-refundable and does not apply to the adoption fee.) This policy is in effect for reasons we will be glad to discuss at the time of your interview.
