You’re here! You’re finally here! I’ve heard about you. You are the one who is looking to adopt a new family member. Right? I knew you would finally make your way over to my profile. And I’m so glad you did! My name is Miles Davis, but you can call me Miles. As you can probably tell, I am so very glad to meet you. Because guess what? I am looking for my forever home and I think we might be a perfect match. Let me tell you all about myself and you can see for yourself!
Before we get started though, I bet you are wondering how a handsome, fun, smart fellow like myself ended up here with HBR looking for my forever home. Well let me tell you, I am as surprised as you are. You see, once upon a time I had a family. And then that family decided they didn’t want me anymore and they gave me to another family. Then the second family lost me accidentally or on purpose (we aren’t sure) and I ended up roaming the streets until a nice person finally took me in and tried to help me. That nice person took me to the vet and they tracked down my first family. They said they didn’t want me and that they didn’t have the contact information of my second family. They told her she could do whatever she wanted with me. Can you believe that? Anyway, thankfully the nice person and the vet reached out to HBR. HBR took me in and promised to help me find a forever family of my very own.
Don’t feel sorry for me though, because this is when my story changes from sad to good! You see since then I have been able to stay with a foster family who has been loving me, and allowing me to show them all of the ways that I am a really good boy who deserves better. And believe me; I am ready to show you too! Okay are you ready? Because here is where it gets good!
In my foster home, I have shown how much I love to be loved and how much I love to show my humans that I love them! I regularly give hugs, I stay by right by their side to love and protect them, and I always try to mind my manners. That means that I only go to the bathroom outside, I sleep in my kennel at night without making a peep, and I listen and do all of the things they ask me to do like sit, stay, etc. When I am not showing my humans how much I love and appreciate them, I like to play! I like to play with humans and I really like to play with other dogs. I am good at sharing toys and I am even willing to share my food.
Now after hearing all that I bet you are saying the same thing that my foster family has been telling me; that is that I am an awesome family dog and they can’t imagine why anyone in their right mind would have let me go. I know. I know. It shocks me too. But it doesn’t really matter, because all of that has led me right here to this moment when I am finally getting to meet you! And I think you might be my forever. Don’t you agree? I tell you what, why don’t you fill out that adoption application and let’s put this new found love to the test?
