Do you still need a valentine this year for Valentines Day? If you do I’m your gal!
Hi. I’m Valentine. I’m a sweet, gorgeous, smart, young boxer girl who is looking for a family to love me and whom I can love back. In fact, that’s why HBR named me Valentine because I’m so sweet and loving!
Let me tell you a little bit more about myself. I was found as a stray and turned into an animal shelter. Everyone at the shelter thought for sure my family would come looking for me because I looked to be in good health, and I looked to be loved. Unfortunately as the days went by, no one came looking for me. They didn’t even get a single call about me. I became sad, and the people at the shelter became worried about my future. That’s when someone contacted Houston Boxer Rescue.
After that, things started to look up for me. HBR came and rescued me from the shelter, took me to a vet to make sure I was okay, and then I landed in a great foster home (which is where I’m writing this to you now). Since being here in my foster home things have been going really well. I have been able to show my foster family all of the things I know how to do, like sit when asked, sleep in a kennel, and snuggle. I also know how to play well with other dogs and I’m really good at playing with kids. What can I say, I’m everything a family would want in a Valentine.
Now, there is one little thing I have to tell you. And I’m really hoping it doesn’t scare you off. You see, when I went to the vet it was discovered that I have these little things called heart worms. I swear I did not ask them to stay, in fact I’m doing everything to get them to leave. And thankfully HBR is helping me with that. I want to assure you that HBR is taking care of all of my needs and I am expected to make a full recovery. I promise that if we become family my whole heart will be yours and yours only!
Well now you know everything about me from start to finish. I would really love to meet you and see if we have a love connection. So I guess what I’m really asking you is, “I would love to be your Valentine. Will you be mine?”
