light positive - treat with heart guard recheck in november
Hello, I'm Johnny Cash. You don't have to call me The Boxer in Black though, you can just call me Cash. ;) I'm not gonna lie to you folks, I am just as cool as my namesake, although maybe not quite as humble. You see, I've got to play myself up in this here bio, or you'll just keep scrolling right on past me. That just wouldn't be right now would it? Okay then, now that I've got your attention, let's get started.
First and foremost, you must know that I live up to my breed. What does that mean, you ask? Well, it means I like to box! That's right, I use my paws when I'm playing every chance I get, because it's fun! I also have what you might call a "natural" tail, which moves right along with me when I wiggle my Boxer butt in happiness. Before I came to be with this rescue, I was so doggone lonesome, but now I barely remember those days. My foster folks are wonderful, and they are teaching me why it isn't cool to put this handsome snout of mine up on the counter, and that what goes in the trash must stay in the trash, not get in my belly. I already know not to do my business in the house, and my reward for that is toys! Lots and lots of toys! I'd never seen 'em before now, and I gotta tell you, you better have them in your place when you take me home, because I'm gonna need 'em. I like itty bitty humans and I like other dogs, too. When I'm not boxing, I like to lie at the feet of my humans and dream my doggie dreams. I tend to talk in my sleep, but don't let that worry you. It's just me singin'.
I do have a bit of a problem with those heartworms, but the rescue is taking me to the doc to clear that all up, so you don't need to worry your not so furry head about it. I'm still as active as any two year old Boxer boy can be, and I love runnin' around in the yard every chance I get. My foster folks have this neat little door that's just for me, and I sure do know how to use it! Well all right then, I reckon that's about it. So when are you coming to get me? I'm ready!
