Meet Trinity!! 

Sweet Trinity has been through a lot, but now finds herself in a stable foster home learning life is good and how to be a dog!

Trinity was surrendered to a local shelter in severe pain from a prolapsed uterus. The owners requested she be euthanized. Since she is young, and sweet, the vet refused. She was juggled between many different households before HBR received her. 

Her prolaspsed uterus is all HEALED, but concern remained over her back legs and spine. There was just something not quite right.

Trinity visited one of our wonderful vets, who said she was either born this way or injured and not given treatment as a puppy, so her spine grew curved and her back legs compensate.

We want to be clear that Trinity is in no pain, and she RUNS and PLAYS like every other dogs, even if she looks just a bit different doing it! It really does not slow her down at all!! 

Trinity loves and adores kids. She plays tug of war, chase, fetch and with numerous toys with her foster family's children. (10 & 8)  She is a taller boxer, and loves to "box" with her front legs, attack feet and wrap her front legs around your legs while playing, so it may be best to consider that if you have very small children.

Trinity needs time to warm up to other dogs in the home. She went through a lot of trauma and change, and needs someone patient and firm to introduce her to household pets and show her she doesn't have to be afraid.

After 2-3 weeks, she happily plays and rests with 2 other boxers in her foster home. (one male and one female.) Trinity does have more of a dominant personality, but has given into the female alpha in the home who is very tolerant and patient. :-) 

There are also 2 cats in the foster home, Trinity is curious but does not seem like she wants to eat them. :-)

Trinity is a sweet natured dog who just wants a family to love and protect. She is protective of her famiily. She will bark and growl when strangers enter the house to let you know. 

She needs someone who understands the boxer breed and is willing to continue her education on doggie and people social skills. She WANTS to please her people. She listens very well when told "No" and picks up on rules quickly.  Her coat is unbelievably soft and shiny!  Her head feels almost like silk when you pet her!

  Transport Fee
 

Our basic transport fee is $300, occasionally this price could change. This fee is for transporting our boxers outside of Texas up North. We do not offer transport in Texas/Louisiana.
