Hey Dude! What’s up? My name is Big Red, but all of my friends call me Red, so you should too. I’ve had my eye on you ever since I saw you looking around on the main Houston Boxer Rescue website, and I have been hoping you would eventually come and visit my page. I have a feeling you and I could be the perfect match, so I wanted to tell you all about myself, Bro.

Okay, so here goes. I was found wandering the streets by a really nice lady who let me come and crash at her pad for a while. She tried and tried to find my family but she had no luck. Then she took me to the vet, and I was like, “Lady, what did I ever do to you? You know what I mean?”  But I guess she just wanted the best for me. While at the vet we found out I had all sorts of little party crashers hanging out with me. I think they called them heart worms. But no worries here now, we have been slowly but surely kicking all of those party crashers out!

Then that same nice lady contacted the peeps at Houston Boxer Rescue and asked them to help get me patched up and find a forever home. And I must have been on a good luck streak, because they said, “Heck Yeah! We would love to have the Big Redster come and party with us!” and before I even knew what was happening I was living like a king in a foster home.

And that brings me to where I am today. I am chillaxing and hanging out with my foster fam. I get to play with the other pups that are here AND I get to play with the little humans too. There are lots and lots of toys here that I love to play with and I’ve learned that I am the “Bomb Dot Com” at tug of war. I will play anywhere, anytime, so… Bring. It. On!!!

But, Bro, wait! I’ve got to tell you this. It turns out I am just as smart as I am handsome! While I’ve been chillin’ here and working on my tug of war skills, I have also learned a whole bunch of other stuff too. This foster fam of mine has been insistent that I learn things like going to the bathroom outside, how to sleep in a crate, and to stop counter surfing! And that last one is the hardest to learn because it is one of my favorite things to do, Man. You feel me bro? Big Red started as the “Surfing King” but in the end it’s totally worth giving up surfing to be part of a family. This is what I really want… A family of my own!

So here’s what I’ve got to offer. In exchange for food, love, care, and a family, I can give you the following;

1. Endless laughs, love, and affection. I promise to always be happy to see you and to wiggle butt my tail off for you!
2. Protection from the evil doorbell sound! I will bark as loud as I can and like a fool every time I hear it. Whether it be a real door bell, or just one I hear on TV.
3. I will be your “Ride or Die”. I will always be up for playtime, adventure, a ride in the car, or a walk in the park. Just say the word, or jingle my leash and I will be by your side. Always!

  Transport Fee
 

Our basic transport fee is $300, occasionally this price could change. This fee is for transporting our boxers outside of Texas up North. We do not offer transport in Texas/Louisiana.
