Hello there! My name is Allman and I would like to take this opportunity to tell you all about myself, because I know as soon as you find out about me, you are going to fall in love with me and we can become family!

So my story begins when both a friend and I were found roaming the streets by my very nice foster mom. She took us in, fed us, and tried to find our people, but sadly she could not. Since she couldn’t find our people, she took us to the vet to get checked out and made sure that we were healthy and okay. And do you know what? It turns out that besides a few pesky heartworms, I am very healthy. And since there is a way to get rid of those heartworms, and that is already being worked on, I am going to be able to be adopted and finally have a family of very own!

Anyway, since I don’t speak human, the vet told my mom that I am a healthy, 1.5 year old, male, boxer and he thought I would be a good candidate to become part of a family. Once my foster momma heard the good news, she contacted the folks at Houston Boxer Rescue to help her find me the perfect family. And now hear I am talking to you.

Anyway, enough about my past, let’s talk about today and the future. Since I am young and energetic, it means I love to play and I love running around and exercising! One of my favorite games to play is tug of war. I also like playing with other toys like stuffed animals too. My foster fur brother and I play together very well and we enjoy a good wrestling match, or two, or three… Don’t get me wrong though, even though I am an active pup, I still really like to snuggle. In fact, I don’t know that I’ve ever met a pillow, blanket, or dog bed that I didn’t like. In fact, it turns out that I am a “teddy bear” on the inside. Who knew???

I’m also very curious and inquisitive. I like watching other animals and I’ve even chased a few. Since I’m strong, my foster mom taught me how to walk on a leash, but every now and again, when I see another animal like a squirrel, or cat, I get a little too excited and try to chase them. It’s for that reason that my foster mom says I probably shouldn’t be in a home that has one of those furballs you people call “cats”. I like to think of them as toys!

Hmmm… Let’s see what else would you like to know about me? Oh! I know! You might be interested to know that I am potty trained. I know to only go outside and to not go in the house. My foster mom says that I am a smart, lovable, expressive boy and that someday real soon, I am going to make a great family member to someone. Do you think that might be you? I sure hope it is!

Our basic transport fee is $300, occasionally this price could change. This fee is for transporting our boxers outside of Texas up North. We do not offer transport in Texas/Louisiana.
